We forget what and whom we say,
Knowing they are not there ever to stay…
Thinking honesty will prove its virtue,
I opened my heart to you.
But instead I filled your heart with sorrow,
Giving you pain that turned your heart away…
Leaving me with all the scattered thorns,
Bleeding while picking them,
I still have those red roses inside me,
So tender sweet and full of fragrance…
