They seldom come true,
And the dreams just remain the dreams…
Many words and promises made,
Are said and forgotten.
We forget what and whom we say,
Knowing they are not there ever to stay…
Thinking honesty will prove its virtue,
I opened my heart to you.
But instead I filled your heart with sorrow,
Giving you pain that turned your heart away…
Leaving me with all the scattered thorns,
Bleeding while picking them,
I still have those red roses inside me,
So tender sweet and full of fragrance…
