Come In My Lap…

Come in my lap son and I will put you to sleep,
Dream of my love, the warmth I will keep.
My hands may be rough from time so worn,
But they always put you to sleep when you felt alone.
You put a glow and a smile on my tired face,
So how can I ever leave a fear or pain’s trace?
My hands will absorb all the worries and your confusions,
I have nurtured you with love and care my shiny son.
You will dream and see fairies take away all your stresses,
Tomorrow will be another sunshine day as the night passes…
